I love Irvine. ^_^ I know a lot of peeps hate him, but I have no idea why. Maybe da whole Cowboy thing bugs them, or somethin. ^_^ One person said she didn't like him cause he looked like a girl, but Laguna looks a lot more feminine then him, in my opinion. ^_^
Actually, da first time I saw Irvine, I didn't like him all that much. I saw him and was like "Yer da character that all da girls are supposed ta love! Look at that smirk! Well, yer not gonna get me under yer spell!"
Heh heh, and look what I'm doin now. ^_^ He's irresistable, seriously. ^_^ Anyway, I didn't like how he hit on all da girls (particularly Selphie, because I really hate Selphie), but I liked him a lot more then da girls. ^_^ So he got on my team. I gradually began ta like him, simply cause of da little things he would do, like his funny limit break.
I also began ta like him at da whole snipin sequence, where he freaked out and couldn't do it. I thought it was cute that da pressure would get ta him like that, it showed he was vulnerable. ^_^ I felt kinda bad fer him, since everyone was yellin at him ta shoot. ^_^o I liked how he did da whole thing.
I also thought it was kinda funny but sad when Rinoa kicked him down da stairs. ^_^o I don't like Rinoa fer doin that, but I hafta admit it was funny. And I REALLY don't like Rinoa cause she scratched poor Irvine up cause he disagreed with her. What a brat she is. ^_^ And yet, Irvine comes through it all anyway. He's so brave! ^_^
I also like how he's interested in guns. Like when he's at Zell's house and is really amazed by all da guns and stuff, and then accidentally sets one off. ^_^ I just think that's really cute. ^_^ That's prolly just me tho.
Yes, I DO like how he looks. I like his hair. ^_^ I can't draw his hat, but I still like it anyway. And I think da cowboy suit fits him, anyway. ^_^ I kinda like it like that. "Peeps shouldn't hate him just cause he's a cowboy. Besides, he's got a purdy face." ta quote another site. ^_^ How true!
I've always liked snipers. ^_^ They're always so cool and mysterious and dramatic, and Irvine was all of those. ^_^ Well, not really mysterious, but whatever. ^_^
I also admire Irvine's personality and logic a lot later in the game. His speech near da end in Edea's house is really very good. I think Irvine is really mature in how he takes responsibility fer his own life, and refuses ta believe that fate is what has been controlling him. He refuses ta back down and hide now that fate is confrontin him, and that's so different then how he was at da beginnin of da game. I could really see Irvine changin through da course of da game, and I think he was really sensible and mature in how he dealt with serious things, although his flirtin showed that he wasn't TOO serious. ^_^ I think his speeches were really very good and showed a lot of character and stuff, and I like his logic and his reasonin. ^_^ I like how Irvine thinks.
One thing that bugs me about him is that he supposedly falls fer Selphie. ^_^o I HATE SELPHIE! She's not good enough fer him. ^_^o So he's got bad taste in woman...one fault. ^_^ I like him anyway. And I think he looks better with Zell, anyway. ^_^ ::giggles::
