Irvine:Background

I don't know that much about Irvine, sadly. ^_^o He didn't have much of a backstory, I think...he was in da orphanage too. ^_^ No one picked on HIM tho, and they all called him Irvy, I think. ^_^ Anyway, he was pretty happy there and then was adopted by da Kinneas', I would think. He went ta a different GARDEN (Galbadia) then some of da others tho, so he was left by himself. That's why when he finally met up with da others and learned about GF's and stuff, he could remember more. Cause GF's make ya ferget stuff. ^_^ So Irvine came and reminded them of their past, which seemed highly improbable ta me, but that's just me, I think. ^_^
Anyway, Irvine's a great sharpshooter, and he was a pretty well-known sniper, I think. ^_^
Irvine doesn't really have that much of a interestin past, now that I think about it. ^_^o How weird...
Anyway, Squall and co. meet up with Irvine when they need a sniper ta make a hit on Edea. Irvine is set ta go with em, and he just bleeds confidence all over da place, which really irritates everyone cause I don't think they were as secure as he was. ^_^ Or maybe I'm biased. Anyway, when it came down ta it tho, Irvine almost couldn't handle da pressure of changin history, but he managed ta pull off da shot, which was a perfect one I might add. ^_^
Anyway, after that they all get caught, but Irvine and Rinoa get let out fer some bizarre reason that I don't understand, and Rinoa forces Irvine ta go back and get da others by whinin until she gets her way. ^_^o Irvine just wanted ta get her back like he was supposed ta, but he ended up savin everyone's butts. ^_^ Ha ha, not so scared of pressure then, is he? He covers everyone in da prison when they get out.
Later on, they go ta Trabia and stuff and there Irvine reminds everyone of their entire past (which seemed really unbelievable) and tells everyone that he's gonna keep goin, cause he made a decision and he was gonna stick with it. Good fer Irvine, I say!
Anyway, Irvine changes through da course of da game ta become less of a terrible flirt and a lot more confident. I think da flirtin was a cover. Anyway, he matures a lot through da game, and near da end he gives a very long and very emotional speech.
Irvine refuses ta believe in destiny or fate, and he refuses ta think that somethin "made" him be here. He knows that his own decisions got him where he was, and he was gonna stick by that. He also knows that sometimes there aren't paths ta choose from, sometimes there's only one, and he accepted that as well. He sticks by his decisions, knowing that he got himself there and he wasn't gonna back down. Very admirable. ^_^
He's a terrible, terrible flirt. ^_^ He loves to hit on ALL the ladies, and just loves attention. At heart tho, he's really insecure (or so I think) and he reminds me more of a kid. He's very subsceptible ta pressure (at least, early on) and he collapses when da pressure of da situation gets too much. I personally think that Irvine is kinda insecure, and he hides it behind da entire confidence thing, but throughout da course of da game he actually does get confidence and becomes that person he was pretendin ta be when da game began. But maybe I'm readin too much inta it. ^_^
