A valid question. ^_^ I really don't know how it happened myself, it was so fast.
Okay, my cousins, Sedona and Nick, both Digimon fans, have a lot of Digimon stuff. Me? I glanced at Digimon a few times, but never truly vested any interest in it. So it was out of sheer Boredom I picked up some kind of Angelic figure on their coffee table and what happened is what follows.
Me: ::holdin Angemon digivolving figure:: What's this?
Nick: That's Angemon.
Me: Oh, a Digimon. Pretty cool lookin.
Sedona: It evolves from Patamon. See, watch.
Nick: ::takes Angemon, after a great deal of effort, folds it back inta da hamster thingy::
Me: ::looks at new hamster thingy:: Oh, it's that winged hamster thingy. That angel really evolves from this thingy?
Nick: Yup.
Me: Lemme see if I can turn it back. ::after a great of effort, unfolds it back inta Angemon:: I always loved these kind of toys. Whats this thingy?
Sedona: That's his staff.
Nick: Angemon's really powerful in da show. His attack is Hand of Fate.
Me: Hand of Fate, eh? ::waves figure around:: Hand of Fate, thou evil ones! Perish before my holiness! Hee hee hee!
Whilst da other cousins were playin around or doin whatever, I played with Angemon.
Me: ::makes it stand in a certain position:: Look! He's a ballerina! ::changes position:: Look, he's thoughtful! ::changes it again:: Look, he's an avenging angel! YAAA!
Sheena: Yer havin too much fun with that.
Me: This guy is cool. He's NEATO TORPEDO!
Sedona: Never seen someone like him that much.
Me: When I get home, I'm gonna look up some stuff on him!
I dunno, there was something about him that was very appealin. I always loved action figures ya can transform inta other things, and this one was really cool. ^_^ So I got really attached ta it fer some reason. That's why I'm now obsessed with Angemon. An action figure. Isn't that sad? ^_^
Me: What's that, Angemon? Ya wanna join me fer Christmas Dinner? ::sits Angemon next ta her plate::
Everyone: ...Psycho.
Me: What's that, Angemon? They're all wrong? I'm so glad ya believe in me, Angemon! I love ya.
